And so it begins... The Setting!
Okay so this is pretty much me every day now...
What can I tell you about the setting guide?
Well, it's flavor. Few mechanics, TONS of fluff.
If it were a part of Bob Ross's paintings, it would be the happy in the trees.
Now, why is this important?
Well, I could simply present a world based solely upon mechanics. No background. No story. Nothing. Just give you the materials to roll the dice & say "All done!" But where's the fun in that?!
I've also been asked, "Why a separate book?" Because I have a lot to say. Plus, with Kickstarter goals, I may have a lot of your ideas to add.
You heard me. Your ideas. One of the major things I will (not plan, will) be doing with the Kickstarter is giving dozens of options for you to add something to the game. Got a favorite NPC? Want a special location added? Got an idea for a really cool piece of machinery? How about a signature spell you've designed?
Yup, all of these can make their way into my game book! You supply the idea, I'll write the mechanics & when we meet in the middle, your concept will be added to the game.
