Kickstarter date pushed back
Well, I told you there would be big news coming.
And yes, it's bittersweet. Allow me to elaborate...
So, I spent a great deal of time this past GenCon listening to a whole lot of people smarter, more successful & more connected than I. After reviewing the status of the Kickstart, as well as some information passed along to me by said individuals, it occurred to me that while I am ready for the Kickstarter now, I could be far more ready later.
And why would I want to do that?
Well, big reason... the backers. If I come to the table less than prepared, I might not be able to do everything I want to do & possibly everything I promise to do. And that's not okay.
If I'm going to do this (and I'm going to do this), I want to do it in the best way possible to bring my game to my backers in the best format I can present it. So...
I'm going to speak to my artist & hopefully get caught upon on images. I'm speaking to additional printers to find the best printer I can locate for the best color printing I can afford. I'm lining up things with my graphic designer. And my editor's hard at work getting the job done.
I expect Ether will be on Kickstarter come the first quarter of 2016, and if all's well, I STILL plan on releasing it by fourth quarter 2016! But that totally depends on its popularity. If it goes big, it will take me longer to get the materials ready for the backers.
So. Without further ado, I'm going to get back to working on Ether pretty much every night, every day.
