Off Topic: The Chronicles of "Of Course Brugo Did" - Chapter 11: Geniuses Raptor, Take Two?
>>> Chapter 10 <<<
>>> Prelude <<<
This one'll be a quickie, but totally a worthwhile one :),
As you might guess, the Fighter was less than happy with the Bloorager's response to his... decision-making skills. Though probably not nearly as much so as the Bloodrager's happiness concerning said skills... or rather, lack thereof?
In any event, so among the loot acquired from our recent battles & victories & such... was a Headband of Intellect +4.
I know you know what I'm about to say...
But first!
Here's how we've been handling loot (totally not my idea):
If an object is valuable in some way to what one of our characters does, we consider it a "need," and you get the thing, no strings attached.
if the object is simply something a character wants, we consider it a "greed," and you have to payout your part of the share for the thing.
Anyway,
At first, I (the Thief) wasn't sure if I really "needed" the thing, per se, so I didn't lay claim to it. And we have no Arcane casters, so Intelligence isn't exactly our top stat choice in terms of mental & social attributes.
So... the Raptor asked for it.
Yup, you know it.
And we really didn't have a reason to say no, since it was on the block to be sold.
But companion's gear comes out of the boss's share & the item wasn't exactly top choice in gear for the Raptor (hilarious to be sure).
So, I told the Raptor he could use it until we decided for sure what we were going to do with it. But, if he wanted it, he'd have to pay for it, like anyone else.
His response?
"Sell the Fighter."
